Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a low mileage (13,966 miles) 1990 Honda Pacific Coast PC800. This bike is in really nice shape considering it is now 20 years old. It has new spark plugs, a brand new taller windshield, recent new front and rear tires and a recent new battery. This bike runs and shifts very well with plenty of power to spare. Because of the design of the Pacific Coast it has the style of its bigger brother, the Goldwing, with the handling and maneuverability of a sport bike. The Pacific Coast loves winding roads. This bike also handles colder weather because of the larger wind screen and the way the air vents provide lots of warm air flow to the rider. The fairing of the Pacific Coast also provides really good wind/rain protection while traveling at highway speeds. The Honda Pacific Coast has an excellent reputation for low maintenance and longevity of life. You can find many PC800s with 100,000, 200,000 and even some with 300,000+ miles. This is a great bike for pleasure riding as well as for use as a commuter bike. The Pacific Coast is rated between 50 and 70 mpg depending on the rider’s style of riding. The Pacific Coast also has a large locking trunk area as you can see in some of the photos. It will hold two full face helmets as well as plenty of other riding gear. When you stop somewhere you can simply put your helmets and all your gear in the trunk where they will remain dry and secure just like they would be in the trunk of a car. Out of sight and out of mind! We will include the two red helmets shown in the photos. They are both the same color and are a pretty close match to the bike. I believe they are both mediums. One of them has been used and the other appears to be new or near new. They came with the bike when we bought it. We did not use them because they did not fit us. This bike rides and runs good, as it should. All gauges, lights and brakes work well as they should. As you can see in some of the photos this bike has just recently (August 2010) undergone a Virginia State inspection which it passed without any defects and/or issues. This bike has been garage kept since we have owned it. It was also garage kept by the 80 year old Gentleman we bought it from. He bought it from the first owner back in 1994. ******* Hopefully you can tell by our E-Bay feedback that we do not make claims or representations that are not 100% accurate. We have always made it a point to understate the condition of any item we have sold so that when the winning bidder gets the item from us then they are always happy. I would not misrepresent any bike or item we have on E-bay to anyone. Having said that I can, with all honesty, say that I believe this bike will provide someone with many miles and years of service and enjoyment. This is also a bike that has the style and appearance that a rider can take pride in. There are a couple of minor scratches that we show in the photos but other than normal scratches there are no holes, dents or body damage anywhere on this bike. I believe you will not be disappointed in the way this bike runs and looks. This bike is located in Brightwood, Virginia. Brightwood is located on Route 29 approx. 30 miles north of Charlottesville, Virginia and approx. 15 miles south of Culpeper, Virginia. Anyone who would like to see this bike before you bid is more than welcome to come by and look it over. It is now in our garage and it will not be ridden by anyone until this auction ends and the new owner arrives to pick it up. This bike has an up to date valid Virginia State Inspection sticker on it. PLEASE NOTE—As I have stated this bike is located in Brightwood Virginia on route 29, approx. 30 miles north of Charlottesville, VA and approx. 15 miles south of Culpeper, VA.
