Hi, up for auction is a extremely clean, solid and very well taken care of 1979 MG Midget. This car is in beautiful condition. The Midget still has it's original paint which is very nice and very shiney. Factory color is called Vermission Red with factory color code being BLVC 118. The convertible top is absolutely flawless, and is brand new and in perfect condition. The interior is also brand new including new seats done to factory specs. This is all new and seats are done absolutly beautifully. I have receipts for all interior work done including the new top. The transmission has also been rebuilt using the original transmission. This job included rebuilt transmission, new pressure plate, clutch, throw-out bearing and flywheel. I also have all receipts for this work performed. The windows roll up & down effortlessly, there's no broken or cracked glass. Doors, hood and truck open and close perfectly, all body seams align perfectly. This MG has never been in a accident. This was the last year for the MG Midget making this model year 1979 very collectible in the MG collectors market. This MG runs excellent, and shifts smoothly. The MG Midget has a recent battery and new fuel lines. All the brakes on the MG have been completely replaced, including new brake pads and rear shoes, new brake lines, new wheel cylinders, new master cylinder resovoir. The master cylinder needs 2 new o'rings installed. The MG Midget still has all 5 original wheels with all 5 matching new Winston tires. The Midget has 74,599 original miles on the car. The car also comes with the original convertible top boot as well as the original cock pit tonneau cover. Original California Blue Plate Car!! The MG has always been garaged it's entire life. I have the original owners manual as well as receipts and documentation and even a Chilton sevice manual. All this will go with the car.
