I am selling this for a friend who's husband unexpectedly passed away while dismantling the car. For sale is this 1956 Chev. 2 dr. handyman wagon. All sheetmetal is in good to excellent condition with no rust. Floorpans are very good with only hole where trans. shifter came through. Includes all window moldings,exterior chrome,both bumpers in good condition (need re-chroming) all headlight/taillight assemblys,all glass EXCEPT drivers door,dash in excellent,unmolested condition. This car could easily be restored to original or made into a street rod. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time. Payment to be made in cash,cashiers check drawn on a major bank, to be paid when vehicle is picked up or shipped. I will assist in loading,if needed.This car has a CA. title in the name of his wife so there will be no problems transferring title. There is no engine,trans. sold with the car. There are various engine,transmissions available at extra cost and can be negotiated with the owner.The engine/trans photo is a 350/350 with less than 1000 miles on them that was going to be used in this re-build and is available for an extra $1500. I also added pics of the spare tire well and under the car. There is very light surface rust and all braces and floor is very sound.This is being sold "AS IS".
