For sale is a 1988 Dodge RamCharger! This truck is one of just a few I know that can go anywhere, it has an amazingly short wheel base and a 4” lift that allow it to crawl over anything. It started out a few years ago as a project truck. It was bought from a farmer who had it in his shed and not being used for ten years. The drivetrain is as solid as they come. In the last year thousands of dollars have been spent making this truck into what it is today. Both the diffs were gone through and repaired, it has posi in back and limited slip in front so when you put it in 4 wheel drive all 4 tires actually turn unlike any other standard truck, which allows it to get anywhere. The radiator was replaced with a high cool aluminum one and the intake was cleaned and given a new filter setup. Plugs and wires have been changed as well as the cap and rotor. The smog system has been bypassed and a set of powder coated headers were installed. This truck has true dual exhaust with 45 degree tips, looks great but sounds even better. Also the axels were replaced and well as the u joints. The radio was swapped out for a cd player and the interior is in like new condition, as you can see from the pictures. It also has a chrome pushbar on front. This truck has many more new parts that I am not thinking of. Over the last year or two this truck has been brought back to be a great all around vehicle. It only has 130k on it and you will be able to tell when you drive it. The price is set very low for a very quick sale and whoever comes to look at it wont be leaving without it after seeing in person. This truck has all the options, some of which were unheard of for the time in a truck, including factory WORKING A/C, cruise control, power locks and windows, it even has a sunroof in back to open so you can sleep in back when you camp. There are NO dents and this truck has NEVER been in a accident which is almost unheard of for being 28 years old. There is the usual rust on the rocker panels wheel wells, and the paint on the hood and roof is faded a bit. The only thing you will notice when driving is that the steering is a bit loose. I had a new gear put in it but that did not solve the problem 100 percent and I tried a used one but that was even worse. This truck is very solid and pulls my 17 fiberglass boat down the highway with ease at 70+ mph. I have also pulled cars on car trailers a few times with no issues. Currently there are two things in the truck I was planning on taking out. 1 is a brake controller, and the second is a almost new, meaning only used once, 20,000 pound winch.
