STRAIGHT VEGETABLE OIL / DIESEL SUBURBAN this truck does not currently run. It needs it's belts replaced, which I wasn't able to do myself because the pully bracket was rusted into place (not the pully on the engine, but the one that tightens and loosens so you can change the belt). It also needs one battery (it has one new one), it needs it's AC recharged. It needs the motor for the back window replaced. It comes with the windows to replace the two back door windows and the back side window (all of which are cracked). This truck has been converted to run on straight vegetable oil by Fossil Free Fuels just outside of Pittsburgh PA. It has a top of the line, computerized, two-tank setup. The truck starts on diesel, and runs on it until the engine temperature reaches 170 degrees and the fuel temperature reaches 70 degrees (via a heated coil in the veg oil tank, heated by a line from the radiator), at which point the computer system automatically switches to the vegetable oil tank. When the vehicle is then switched off, the computer keeps the engine running until the vegetable oil is purged from the system, then switches off. I had the injector pump replaced on this about 2 years ago. I was driving it to work a few times a week for a couple of years until the belts went on me. My buddy and I tried getting the new belt on with no luck, and it has been sitting since. Vegetable oil is a clean burning fuel that can be obtained from restaurants, in many cases, for free. To recycle the oil you will need a filtration system. I use the filtration system built by Fossil Free Fuels, but they currently recommend www.absolutecentrifuge.com . this truck has a Blaupunkt MP3/CD player with aux in. towing/shipping of this vehicle will be the buyers responsibility. THIS VEHICLE HAS SOME RUST, THE BACK GATE HINGES ARE RUSTED OUT PRETTY BAD. A FEW PEOPLE HAVE CALLED ME TODAY AND YESTERDAY TO ASK ABOUT RUST, AND I LOOKED IT OVER AGAIN AND THOUGHT I SHOULD MAKE IT CLEAR IN THE DESCRIPTION (the rust can be seen in the pictures, it's the brown stuff) 2. YOU CAN RUN THIS ON DIESEL, NEVER PUTTING VO IN IT AT ALL. YOU DON'T HAVE TO EVER RUN IT ON VO IF YOU DON'T WANT TO. 3. THE RUSTED PULLY IS THE ONE ON THE BOTTOM, NOT THE ONE ATTACHED TO THE ENGINE.
