1988 Jaguar XJS coupe, v12, tan interior, red exterior, 136k miles. Excellent cosmetic condition, good mechanical condition, selling as we've got a baby on the way and a 2+2 coupe isn't really practical anymore. Recent respray (Glasurit 2-pack original Jaguar Grenadier Red paint), and it's been an Oregon car since 1995. Serviced at Monte Shelton Jaguar, recent work also done by Craig @ Portland Jag Shop. Car was originally sold in PA and made the trip to the West Coast in 1995, where it's been ever since. Some of the paperwork with the car includes the original window sticker, alarm and key codes, and a bunch of receipts going back to the original warranty work in 1988 when the car was new. Receipts for $10k of work, including new a/c evaporator and compressor, new front brakes (rotors and pads), new rear brakes (pads), replacement radiator, and a bunch of electrical work. Near-new tires, spare is perfect, original Jag alloys are perfect, recent filter change, battery is a couple of years old. New transmission mount. While the exterior is near-perfect, there is a dent in one of the rear fenders and it needs some interior work to be showroom-condition. The headliner is gone and needs replacing, and the front seats are kinda worn. R/H automatic seat belt works, L/H needs reassembling. The rear seats are good, as is the carpet and dashboard trim and wood. All electrics work, cruise control is disconnected but all there. A/C works but needs a charge. Stereo works. Lights all work. Oil leak from r/h rocker cover (don't they all?). No overheating issues. Exhaust is in good condition with no blowing/leaks. Car is perfectly driveable as it is, but as it has an oil leak from the rocker cover I'd recommend getting it towed or trailered away. Clear OR title, OR tags expired Sept '10. Car is in Saint Helens, OR (zip 97051) and must be picked up within seven days of auction end. I'm happy to assist with storage or transport if required, I just need a little bit more of my driveway back! Also, as a result of my last listing, please note that if you send me a poorly-faked cashier's check I'm likely to spot it. In fact, my 93 year old Grandma could probably spot it. I'm afraid I can't ship this car to Nigeria, nor can I assist with shipping it to Australia to your "son" who wants to pay in Norwegian Kroner. Thanks!
