The Oldsmobile motor has less than 45,000 original miles on the V8 403 Oldsmobile motor. Carburetor is a Racing Cam Holly 750 The 350 automatic transmission with a positraction rear end and a 2500 RPM Torque Converter and there are traction bars and air shocks on the rear. CUSTOM BODYWORK INCLUDES: All four fenders are flared Trunk has a Whaler Spoiler Has a Corvette Nose Has a Corvette Hood Scoop Has an outside sun visor on the front windshield. All maintenance records, receipts and original shop records are included. Valid Vermont Inspection Sticker. Car just had a complete tune up ($795.00) with new plugs, oil and transmission fluids changed and a carburetor completely rebuilt. Also put in a brand new battery, and bled all the breaks. Front tires are Brand New Cooper Cobras and rear tires are showing 60% on the BF Goodrich TA brand T Tops have Good Glass I have a Nitro system that goes with the car. It has never been used because the Oldsmobile 403 came with aluminum pistons and I never got around to changing them out. I have a photo album of the car as it was being customized. I also am including a custom made dust cover for the car and a custom made bra. The problems with the car are: The heating system needs a new heater core. The heat does not work. The A/C needs to be recharged and a couple of the hoses should be replaced as well. The Headliner is not there. I removed the original as it was a total wreck and haven’t got around to replacing it with a new one. All the weather stripping for the doors, trunk and T- Tops should eventually be replaced. The Leather interior is in great condition with the exception of one seam on the driver’s seat where it has separated about 8 inches and needs to be re sewn. The paint has a few light scratches and nicks as you would expect on a vehicle this age. There is a very small ding in the drivers side door as well as a small divot in the right front wheel flare where and engine stand in my shop hit the car and the very tip of the corvette nose is missing a small piece about 2 inches long....see pictures. The rear seat plastic side panels are disintegrating and I do not have the side panels - but I purchased quite a few parts to replace a lot of plastic and they all go with the car. You can re dye everything to match the original interior. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ The dash is in decent shape and has always been kept covered and all gauges work. The car has never been smoked in and has always been kept in a garage. The overall mechanical condition of the car is excellent and condition of the body is very, very good, there is absolutely no rust anywhere & as mentioned earlier the car was professionally undercoated including all doors and fenders. This Trans Am was originally from Florida and I purchased it from the original owner and had it shipped to Vermont. I have only driven it to a few of the local area Hot Rod shows, all within a 200 mile radius of my home, since I purchased it and it has never even been driven in the rain and certainly never in the snow. What this car could use is a new paint job. The existing paint is shiny and looks good and buffs out really nice but to remove any scratches and make this into a show car again it would need to be redone. There are a few places where the fiberglass on the body needs attention, Most notably on the very tip of the nose cone and the drivers side front wheel flair, and as mentioned the interior plastic should all be replaced with new or re died parts an you will eventually want to re chrome or replace the tire rims. It will be very easy to put this car back into show room condition. This would make a Great Pro Street or Strip car. The body work is basically done and all you need to do is either rebuild the 403 to your specs or drop in your own Big HP motor. The Buy it now price is $5,500 and the reserve is set at $5,000 I am not willing to give this car away but will entertain all serious offers including trading for a jeep and tow dolly! No kickers please! The photo above is NOT a dent - it is just a bad pic. Sorry Please Ask Any Questions Before You Place a Bid!
