Up for auction is a 1965 Chevy II 4 door. 6 cylinder , automatic transmission. A barn find, been sitting parked since 1985. Original pink slip issued in 1967 to person I received the car from. Original black plates still on vehicle. This car is non running, motor does not turn over. Solid California car. No rust other than the surface rust on roof due to weather. Solid floors, doors, quarters and fenders. Hood and trunk are also in very nice shape. Front bumper does have rust on it from sitting. Rear bumper has a dent. Car is solid all the way around. Grill is in good condition. All glass in nice shape. Drivers side quarter has some old t/c damage. Passenger side fender has a small dent near the headlight also missing the stainless fender/headlight moulding . That is the only missing piece on this car. Drivers side rocker panel is dented also. The interior is complete. No missing knobs or handles. Even the original glove box owner's manual is still there!!! Dash is in very nice shape. Gauges look clear. Motorola Solid State radio is complete with knobs. Radio Bezel in nice shape. Headliner is in very nice condition. The seats had plastic covers installed back in the 60's. They remain intact !!! Drivers side of the front bench seat has a couple splits under the plastic. Rear seat is fine. Standard rubber floor mat is in good condition other than the wear spot on drivers side . 2 front seat belts in good shape. No rear seat belts. All door panels are in good condition. Steering wheel and column look to be in good condition also. All 4 original hubcaps still on car, of course there is some pitting to them. Tires surpisingly still hold air but are no good. They've been on this car since parked 25 years ago. Trunk is in very nice shape, no rust at all. Splatter paint still looks factory new. Jack is still in the trunk, no spare and I didn't find the jack handle. Motor and trans are the originals. All parts under the hood are there. Nothing is missing. This car is to good to junk. Would be a great one to put together as a daily driver. I hate to say this but it would make a great parts car. I don't believe in dismantling complete classic cars. Fix them and get them back out on the road!!! I know it's a 4 door car. I'm sure this isn't worth much but I'm not going to give it away either. Low reserve. Low starting bid.
