The car was kept and garaged in California up until 2 years ago and has since been garaged over the winters in Vermont. The car just had $4,000.00 invested in it; 4 new aggressive all-season tires, 4 new full sets of brakes (discs and pads), rebuilt fuel pump (not manufactured anymore), new sway bars, new bushings, new fuel hoses, new fuel filter, new breather hoses, new air filter, and rear differential serviced. The mechanic (a Mercedes specialist), said the car should be good for another 30,000 miles. The canvas top is like new. The Pioneer AM/FM/CD faceplate is removable as a theft deterrent. Other than what is listed above, all other parts should be original. The body has no dents and little to no rust. The wheels have chrome wire rim spokes. The winter hard-top is removable with a summer soft-top underneath. The car had some pioneering technology for its day, including: Cruise Control (which works), Power Antenna, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Power Steering, Air Conditioning, Rear Defrost. The car is vintage and 35 years old, so there is the wear and tear that you would expect, but the car was well-kept and is in very good condition for its age. As would be expected with a 35-year old original, there is some wear on the paint and the interior, but nothing significant. The car drives beautifully and is a real head turner.
