You are bidding on a one of a kind vehicle!! The market value for the average person to build this Trike is estimated at $25,000 USD by a few local custom motorcycle shops. Reasonable offers accepted. If entered into shows, I am certain that Ole Yellar will win a few trophys. It started off as a 1979 Honda CB 750 cruiser. In 1996 it was converted to a trike with a 1974 VW 1600 dual port engine and 4 speed transmission with reverse, there is an air-ride suspension in the rear also. 2003 brought a new life to it with a cammed V8 Chevy 283 Small Block replacing the VW. It is estimated to have around 250 HP. Since this is NOT a Fuel Injected setup, the MPG's are a little less. It will do about 18-24 MPG's. A Kennedy Engineering adaptor plate was used to mount the 283 to the VW Transmission. To transfer the power, a Stage 2 Hydraulic clutch was installed as well. There is an Edelbrock 4 barrel, 500 cfm carb. with manual choke. Also equipped with an electric fan with rear mounted radiator and a ground up scoop to provide fresh air to the radiator. Underneath is a custom made fuel cell that holds 8 gallons. The rear tires are 15" Cooper Cobra tires mounted on VW bolt pattern, chrome rims. The tires are in decent condition. The front end is a 2006 Iron Horse 12 over with single disc brake and a 21" rim. The front tire was replaced in early April. The handle bars are the "Fat Boy" style Harley Davidson pull back. The controls are Harley Davidson also. The body is fiberglass that is removed by three bolts and a couple of quick disconnect wires. The front seat is very comfortable and feels like you are sitting in a lounge chair! The back seat is big enough for one passenger VERY comfortably or two passengers side by side. Both seats are removable with snaps for easy storage. The turn signals are all LED along with the tail lights. The front signals are running lights as well, clear with Yellow LEDs. I have a Badlands signal controller with Self Cancelling, that I have not yet installed. The luggage compartment/trunk, has plenty of room for an over night trip! It has had 3 half helmets, a leather jacket, vest and a few other things in it all at once... with extra room! As a recent amputee, I bought this wonderful vehicle with the intention of enjoying the wind again. As you can see in the photos, I made modifications that are reversible. Unfortunately, for a few reasons I am not able to keep it. I am sure the next owner will enjoy it very much! This vehicle is HIGH performance and should NOT be driven too hard through corners. THE FRONT END IS NOT AS BALANCED AS A NORMAL MOTORCYCLE!!!! It is great on the highways, it gets MANY looks!! There are a couple of minor scratches and a ding in the paint from normal wear and tear. This vehicle is sold in AS IS condition with NO implied warranties. Buyer assumes cost and responsiblity of pickup/delivery. I also have a 2006 Carry-On ATV trailer with rear and right side ramps that I will include in the sale for an additional $1,000. It has a 2" ball mount on it with a good spare tire as well. To the best of my knowledge there are NO defects with the trailer at all. All of the lights work and the primary tires are in good shape as well. It is used for many different things currently, so everything is functional. The trailer is 6' X 12' with adaptations for the Trike, that measures almost 13' in length. I can not sell the trailer without selling the Trike, since I use it to transport the Trike. This too is sold in AS IS condition with no implied warranties.
