1956 Oldsmobile Super 88 Hardtop VIN: 568K19159 The "Super 88" model was Oldsmobile's first "muscle car." The Super was the short wheelbase Olds with the top-of-the-line Olds Rocket 88 324ci, Jet-Away Hydramatic transmission, 4BBL Rochester Carburetor, Dual exhaust and other factory options (See below). Dupont "Two-Tone" Turquoise over Black with the original White and Black "brocade" interior. The car was purchased on September 17, 1956 in Nebraska. It has had five owners from Nebraska, Nevada, and Mississippi. The chassis has 99,668 miles. The engine and transmission were rebuilt over twenty years ago and has been in storage until last year. The paint, generator, and fuel pump have been the only work done on the car by the current lady owner. It is driven daily and runs excellent.
