Vehicle Detail
This is a 1968 International Harvester Travelall 1100c 4X4. This is the last year that they made this body style before going to the square body style. Runs and drives great, I use it as a daily driver. Engine is a 241 straight 6 that was rebuilt in 1991. Not sure if mileage was reset. I have receipts from the rebuild. 3 on the tree manual transmission with locking hubs. 4 wheel drive works great. I have the line set ticket and a complete 2 volume shop manual. I have done the following since I have owned it: NEW brake shoes, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, spark plugs, spark plug wires, battery cables, distributor cap and rotor, and points. Rebuilt carburetor. Recent oil change. This model has barn doors which is really rare. Most models came with tailgate. Has a CB that works, looks like an old telephone. 8000lb. Ramsey Winch with a 10ft remote cable. Winch works great. It has dual gas tanks. I am only running on one right now, the other is out because I was going to have it cleaned. Heater works. Floors have some rust on driver and passenger side, but the floors are solid. The man who had it before me painted it white but didn't prep it at all over original orange paint. In the pictures, you can see the white paint flaking off with the original orange underneath. The outside of the body is not rusted it is the orange paint. There is a crack in the drivers rear window, it wouldn't show up in the picture. The window is completely solid though. There is a chip in the windshield, but it is also solid. It comes with a spare tire mounted on a rim. It has all 4 hubcaps which is really rare also. All of the doors open and shut well, windows roll up and down good. I really love this truck. I took it hunting this year and was able to fold up the back seat and throw my cot in the back, it is very roomy. I bought it to restore, but like everybody else these days, I need the money. This is a great truck, a very desired collectible. This is a good truck, and in my opinion I think it would do fine traveling long distances. This truck is over 40 years old and has no warranty. Sold as is. Buyer is welcome to ask questions or come view the vehicle before bidding. Buyer is responsible for transport or pickup of vehicle. I will assist in any way possible. Truck is also for sale locally, so auction may end early.
