Vehicle Detail

I bought this car from a Honda Dealer my friend works at. He tipped me off that this beautiful luxury sport sedan had been traded in by a medical salesman who had towed it around the country behind his RV while he travelled and serviced his sales route. The odometer says that it has almost 400K but I was assured that most of those mile were spent with the wheels rolling and the vehicle n neutral with the engine off and everyone who has looked it over agrees that the miles must be much lower. You can tell that it wan't driven much by the wear on the leather. It was immaculate when I bought it 2 years ago and is still in excellent condition to this day. A week ago m y trans started acting up. It shifts fine until it warms up. Once it warms up it locks down in 2nd gear and the D5 light flashes. I took it to AutoZone and got a free diagnostic. The computer "P" code came back saying that the trans solenoid is not functioning properly. After some internet research and talking to my local Acura dealer's service dept I found that this is a common problem in this generation of TLs. Apparently the solenoid is cheap ($60) but since it is inside the transmission it needs to be rebuilt or exchanged. Loooks like this should cost between $1,000-$1,500. Due to my financial situation I cannot afford to fix it or I would. You will need to tow it home but it will drive around parking lot so you can drive it onto a dolly or trailer. This is the best car I've ever had. It runs and drives like butter (just needs some trans work). I've seen cars like this without trans problems sell for close to $10,000 and the Blue Book value of this one is still $6,000 even with the miles taken at face value. This is a great chance for someone to buy this cheap, fix the trans and come out with a loaded luxury sports car at an unbeleiveable value! I am selling this car with NO RESERVE. The highest bidder wins!
