Item Name: 1989 Geo Tracker 4x4 (same as Suzuki Sidekick) 125,000 miles. 5 Speed Item Details: Perfect for VW Diesel or V6 Conversion, or rebuilt it and run it. I bought this with intention of fixing it and driving it for fun, but don't think I have the time now. Clear California Title with Current Registration. The previous owner overheated the motor due to a bad radiator cap. Engine is out and needs to be rebuilt or replaced. The cylinders are mildly scored so the block will need machining. The head looks good, but needs to be checked for warpage. There are no apparent cracks in either. The exhaust manifold is not cracked. The Tracker passed California smog just before it was overheated, so all of the other parts should be in good usable, smog worthy condition, but it of course is sold as is. The timing belt cover needs to be replaced ($29.00 new online). The rest of driveline should be is good useable condition. No appearance of any significant wrecks. Clean Carfax. There are a couple of dings here and there, and it is a 20 year old truck, so don't expect a perfect truck. The rear bumper is black instead of white so it looks like it has been replaced. There is a fullsize trailer hitch receiver on the Tracker. It also has a newer Best Top, no major upholstery defects, and has several aftermarket lock boxes in the back. The entire interior could use a good cleaning and vacuuming though. Drivers inside door handle needs replacement. This tracker has a rare aftermarket power window system and the door panels are nice.Passenger power window motor works, but the window channels need to be adjusted (the window goes up, you just need to guide it) The transfer case shift lever knob is loose. The head was pulled when I got it. All parts I have pulled since I have bagged and tagged. Pictures: Shipping: Buyer must arrange ALL shipping details. I will make myself available at pickup time.
