THIS IS A RELIST DUE TO A GLITCH IN THE EBAY SYSTEM WHICH PREVENTED ME FROM POSTING THE DESCRIPTION ON THE ORIGINAL AUCTION. I AM LISTING THE 91 MR2 TURBO FOR A GOOD FRIEND WHO,DUE TO WORK/SCHEDULE LIMITATIONS DOES NOT HAVE TIME TO HANDLE AN AUCTION FOR THE CAR.PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING THE MR2 & IT'S HISTORY. mr2mch at gmail dot com or call 254-722-2005 evenings & weekends only please This is an original California car purchased in June 91 thru Toyota of Riverside.The original owner kept the MR2 until March of 2003 when it was sold with 75K miles to the 2nd owner in Virginia Beach VA. The car was driven sparingly for 5 years & then sold in late 2008 with 78K miles to the current owner here in Waco Tx. The car was driven home from VA to TX without any problems whatsoever.The MR2 now has appx 82,500 miles & still runs & drives flawlessly. All power equipment is in good working condition & the tires have about 2K miles on them so far. THIS MR2 TURBO COULD BE DRIVEN ACROSS THE COUNTRY WITHOUT HESITATION..... The MR2s past service history includes reciepts from Toyota of Riverside in CA along with several others from local independant shops in the Riverside area.Some warranty work at Toyota of Riverside was performed early on in the car's history....A steering wheel replacement in 92, A/C system update in 93, Antenna replacement in 94, Interior trim panels in 94, Turbocharger & exh manifold in 94, L/H rear hub bearing in 95. Other normal replacement items were done including....oil/filter changes, several fuel filters, platinum plugs @ 48K in 95, timing belt, crank seal & O2 sensor @ 61K in 96. Independant shops performed service incl....battery replacements, rear brake pads in 94, routine oil/filter changes w/Castrol oil, cooling system flushes, air filter replacements, wiper blades...etc. The windshield was also replaced in 93. The 2nd owner had mostly oil/filter changes during the 5 years of his ownership over 3K miles of driving.After the car was purchased & brought to Waco,the current owner had the coolant flushed & refilled.This was done within the last 2 years.No other service has been necessary other than oil/filter changes. The MR2 has the (then) optional T Tops which fit perfectly & do not leak.Storage covers for the tops are included.Most Turbos had the power pkg & this one does too.The cruise control is also in good working cond.This MR2 also has the power steering option.We are not sure if it has the ABS option. Additional items either changed or added to the MR2 by the orig owner include....A Viper alarm system added in 91, Pioneer CD radio added in 91,Leather interior added ??? Recent additions/changes include...94-95 style tail light lenses & trim panel, Front clear signal lenses, Kenwood DPX303 CD MP3 Radio & door speakers, Honda S2000 16" wheels using wheel spacers for proper offset.Front & rear wheels differ in widths similar to the stock 14" wheels. 16x6.5 & 7.5 I believe. Tires are Falken ZIEX512 in sizes 205/45x16 front / 225/45x16 rear. I have driven this car & let me tell ya.....It drives & handles like it just rolled off the showroom floor.I'd love to have it in my garage but size limitations prohibit that....!? There is only 1 scuff on the R/H rear bumper cover near the rear wheelwell which was done while backing out of a confined space.It is easily repaired with a bit of spray touch up paint & some finishing. YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED WITH THE OVERALL CONDITION OF THIS CAR. I SELL ONLY TO BUYERS IN THE CONTINENTAL US I DO NOT ACCEPT BIDS FROM MEMBERS WITH LESS THAN 98% POSITIVE FEEDBACK INCL 0 FEEDBACK MEMBERS DELIVERY OF THE MR2 WITHIN A 500 MILE RADIUS OF WACO TX MAY BE POSSIBLE FOR A SMALL FEE WITH SOME SCHEDULING LIMITATIONS.
