This Jeep is a powerful off-road vehicle, hauler, and commuter vehicle. The 304 V8 engine and 3 speed transmission was rebuilt by Jasper in 1999 and many replacements were made, too. New 33" tires, new steering column, new radiator, new locking hubs, full roll cage, new top and seats, and new starter. Since 1999, the Jeep has been used minimally (less than 10,000 miles) on weekends and for special occasions like light hauling and snow storms. We've invested about $7,500 in those parts that make the vehicle run great. However, the Jeep is old and has the following issues. The seat belts need immediate attention because both buckles are difficult to unlatch. The frame and tub do not need immediate attention, but both are rusty and bent/twisted. Also, there is no power steering because of leaks in the power steering box. In summary, this Jeep is very dependable, but it needs a new frame, wiring harness, and a tub in order to make it look as good as it runs. As far as being able to go off road and/or handle your toughest jobs, it is ready to go.
