I picked this bike up with full intent to strip it down to the frame but after checking it out I had to think twice. My friend had used it behind his motor home for years and the bike does not burn oil and runs well. Shifts great though all the gears and the lights work. Looks like someone put a new style "sealed" battery that works well. I have changed the oil and cleaned the air filter. Original carb still works well on the bike. The speedo shows 3922 and still works but I am sure the motor has been rebuilt and is alot fresher than that. Kickstart spline is still good which is a weak link on these bikes. Tenn titled, registered and street legal. 1972 3 speed's in "Special CandyYellow" are hard to come by and would make a great bike the way it is or a great start for a restore project. Paint is not perfect but better than most I find. 4.00 x 10 street tire which rides great but you will have the option of getting the bike with the stock tires, I have both. Check my feedback, I have restored several of these bikes but thought that a "Survivor" might be what someone wants. Fenders still shine and it looks like the exhaust is new.
