Vehicle Detail
"I am listing this for sale again because previous buyer didn't pay! Please serious bidders only!" Up for sale is my 1973 Camaro. I purchased this car when I was 15. It was my first car I have ever had and unfortunalty I have to let it go :( I had plans to finish restoring it but time, money and a busy work schedule is forcing me to sell my camaro. I would like this car to find a good home where someone will finish the restoration. The only thing that this car needs is to be painted. Specifications: Engine: I builit a Brand new 383 Small block chevy. AFR Heads, Hooker Supercomp Headers, Edelbrock Victor Jr Intake, Barry Grant 750cfm carb, forged pistons, forged crank, 7quart oil pan and 4 bolt mains. This motor was purposly built for a supercharger or turbo setup and has low compression so you can run lots of boost and not have issues. Motor alone prob makes around 400-450hp and sounds great. A new flowmaster exhaust was installed about a year ago. There is about 1000 miles on the new engine. Engine alone cost $8,000 to build. Transmission: TH350 with reverse valve body. Even though this is an automatic you must shift it, 1st, 2nd, 3rd. Very fun to drive without having to worry about using a clutch pedal. The trans is attached to a B&M ratchet shifter. Rear: 12 bolt rear end with 3.73 gears. Wheels: Wheels and tires have about 1,000 miles on them. Centerline telstars with Mickey Thomspan Drag Radials and skinnies in front. $2000 in those alone Interior: Black bucket seats that are in great condition. The dash and headliner is in great shape as well. Overall I would say inerior is in 8 out of 10 condition. Parts that have been replaced: New OEM Fuel Tank, Fuel Lines, Sending unit and everything else involved. New Rear Spoiler New Fiberglass Cowl hood New inner fenders New outer fenders both left and right New Radiator Core Support Aluminum Radiator and Electric Fans Newer Radio and speakers Like I said I have done everythiing to this car and the only thing left is paint. Unfortunatly I cannot afford to do that nor have storage anymore so I need to sell it. I have invested iver 20k in this car and understand it was a labor of love and will not get it all back. However I feel that after this car is painted for about 3-5k it would be worth $20k. Second Gen Camaros are gaining in popularity and only increasing in value. I also have hundred of reciepts for work and parts that were purchased. Buyer is responsible for picking up vehicle. Vehicle is sold as is with out a warranty Thank you and good luck.
