1982 BMW R-Series

I am the original owner of this truly beautiful classic 1982 BMW R65LS. Its styling is the classic café racer style of this era. This bike is completely stock. It has not been on the road or been run since 1986. It has been stored in my heated garage and covered. It has been moved once with our household and suffered some moving damage to the gas tank. Two of the photos detail dents in the top and side of the tank. I am told the tank will need to be replaced. The good news is the tank is inter-changeable with many of the R series models. Apart from the gas tank, the bike is in very good condition as you can see from the photos. Getting it on the road will be a nice winter project. Terms of sale: A $500 PayPal deposit is required within 24 hours after the close of the auction. The bike must be picked up by the buyer within 3 days of the close of the auction. Absolutely no exceptions. Only PayPal or cash are accepted. I will not accept any type of check except cashiers check drawn on a local Ohio bank.
