My sister bought this car off my neighbor and drove it a couple yrs. runns good might use a lil oil now and then, they might have fixed it tho not sure. replaced transmission, but guy forgot to hookup the dropdown cable, so it hesitates up big hills, other then that it runs, an drives great, good family car, or fixer-uper lots of potential if ur gonna fix it up, she hit a deer an knocked the grille out, and a headlight. someone crashed into her parked car @ walmart an drove off so the driver-side taillight is smashed in a lil but still works, we used the red tape trick to cover it. interior is fairly clean, might need shampooed but there are no major rips, tares, or burns, the electronic dash and gauges all seem to work well, could use a good detailing,with some minor work this car would make someone a nice car, maybe even a first car for someone, beings its an old solid body car which makes it safer then newer cars. Thats about all, any ??'s jus askOn Sep-23-10 at 15:50:42 PDT, seller added the following information:fORGOT TO MENTION THE ALTERNATOR NEEDS REPLACED OR FIXED IT DOESNT CHARGEOn Sep-24-10 at 12:01:45 PDT, seller added the following information:We just pulled the car up, checked and filled all fluids, we bought and changed the alternator belt, and it seems to be charging fine now, we test drove it down the road, it rides, runs and shifts great other than going uphill it hesitates due to kickdown cable not hooked up. I am confident this car will make a small-decent trip in ohio or a close state, but DO NOT GUARANTEE it, keep in mind the reserve price is junk price, but this car is not junk by any means, it has potential, just needs a little TLC. Also forgot to mention exhaust was broke and we replaced it with a glasspack and straight pipe, its a little louder than normal but sounds good with a low rumble
