1997 Suzuki Savage, 650cc cruiser with saddlebags and Size L full-face helmet. It has a little under 5500 miles (this is the actual mileage!). Previous owner was an older gentleman who rode it once a week. I'm the third owner of this motorcycle and have had it for one year, I've been using it as a commuter bike all this time without problems. Has literally stayed within DC city limits for the most part under my watch, I've just used it strictly to ride around town. It's street kept, so could use some TLC and has a little patch of rust here and there but no rot and the chassis is solid and in good shape. Clean and pretty decent looking for its age - as far as I know it has never been dropped and has no dents. The seat itself has a few tears in it jsut from normal wear. Starts up and runs great, can drive it away. Needs front brake pad replacement, I haven't had time to do it myself. Have repair manual (both dealer and Clymer) and some extra parts (backup battery, charger, gasket, oil filter) that I'll throw in as well. Literally everything you need to get started riding in one package. An easy bike to learn on, ride, and take care of. Big single cylinder is about as simple as engines get if you want something to tinker with, it's been good for that. Bike weighs 352lbs dry weight, so it's definitely light enough to learn on and swing through traffic. Also, I am 6'3" and have been riding this bike comfortably, although it does sit a little lower to the ground than I'd like for a guy with legs as long as mine. This was my first bike and I hate to part ways, but I needed a car and now can't afford to keep both, so my loss is your gain.
