This excellent little diesel pickup truck is being relisted one last time with a NEW very low reserve for the two owners who are out of state with there new job. Doesn't anyone want to get 35 mpg with a pickup? There was alot of interest but not much bidding. I helped them install the NEW veggie system myself and i know this truck well. The WVO system alone was over $1500 and this is an extremely nice vehicle that only needs a trannywith an engine that runs excellent and starts easy, REBUILT INJECTION PUMP WITH VITON SEALS for veggie or BIODIESL or homebrew. I have seen the old Isuzu Pup or Chevy Luv pickups go for over $3000 if in good shape on ebay and this is even better with 1994 comfort features, almost NO rust, and in great shape. The two young people who had to abandon this truck and asked me to help sell here on ebay when the tranny went out are wonderful people and need a little cash to help them at their new location and new jobs working with special needs children (true story). Please bid it to its salvage value with $750 injection pump, great 2.2L Isuzu diesel and two tank veggie system. Here is a chance to pickup a very nice converted, unique diesel pickup truck with a NEW WVO two tank system for the cost of the veggie system. The 5 speed transmission just went out on my friends’ trip to their new job out west. They had to leave the truck in Colorado Springs where they broke down and continue on to Utah to start the new job. The tranny seal leaked out all the fluid and the gears got hot and thus the bad tranny – the engine starts easy but will not go into gear or move by itself. The 4 cyl. Isuzu diesel ENGINE RUNS GREAT on both diesel and veggie oil. The owner is an environmental engineer who helped install the new system a couple weeks ago and the kit includes a professionally fabricated 15 gallon heated tank, two new 3-way Pollack electric valves and a water heated veggie filter as the highlights. The diesel ran great on veggie oil from Wisconsin to Colorado until the tranny failed. The owners just want to get back some of their investment and have both started their new jobs in Utah and can’t get back to deal with truck. They found a very nice man who is also into veggie systems who let them park the truck at his place in Colorado Springs until sold. The installed veggie system alone is worth $1500 to $2500 if you check the prices. This truck is equipped with a camper top and the owners recently converted the bed to a camper with a plywood raised floor that has been carpeted and padded for sleeping quarters and storage underneath. The WVO tank is installed under the bed as you can see in pics and everything is very well insulated to allow running on veggie oil even in the cold winter with all new hoses with double installation on the water and fuel lines. The following is a description of the truck before the WVO kit was installed and highlights the newly rebuilt injection pump with VITON seals, new glow plugs and new valve cover gaskets – receipts from Badger Diesel for $900 included. This is a chance to pickup a great mechanics special deal and help out an extremely nice young couple get a little money back and move on. I have looked on the internet and found several used chevy/isuzu 5 speed mid 80s transmissions avail. for $150 to $500 and they are on ebay frequently also. This tranny is not hard to find and relatively inexpensive if you have time to look. The truck will need to be towed or trailered or fixed before driving. 1994 Chevy S10 ext. cab with a tranplanted Isuzu 4 cyl. diesel from a mid 80’s Chevy Luv that starts easy and runs great and gets 35+ mpg and will run biodiesel, WVO or almost anything. 5 speed manual tranny. The odometer on the S10 gas body says 207,000 but the motor only has about 150,000 and a recent compression check when the glow glow plugs where changed tested very good at approx. 400psi +/- 5psi on all 4 cyl. (in-spec) A couple manuals are included with specifications and drawings. Recently had the injection pump professionally rebuilt with all VITON seals to allow biodiesel to be used or any other fuels such as veggie oil or WVO. This truck also has an excellent CD sound system. Tires are great and have matching black buick rims. This truck looks and runs very nice with black and silver trim. It does show some age with a few minor rust spots and other flaws but overall in very good condition. a unique small diesel pickup that US automakers should be selling new!
