This 1971 El Camino has a clean Southern California body. Previous owner was the original owner and he started a frame up restoration. The body was disassembled and removed from the frame and mounted on a rotiserrie for cleaning the bottom of the body. The excellent frame was painted in black epoxy and the body was reinstalled on Energy Suspension body bushings. The quarters are original and straight. The floors were professionally replaced and the lower front fender corners were repaired with new sheetmetal. The windshield is tinted and new. New bumpers front and rear. The Camino has a 10 bolt rear and drum brakes. The rear suspension has new springs and Energy Suspension bushings in the control arms. 14 x 6 and 15 x 8 rally wheels. In the pic of the rear, you can see a hidden slide-in trailer hitch resides behind the license plate. The dash panel and wiring is included, as is the heater box, window and bed trim. I got rid of the old '68 front bench seat it came with (I had no plans to use it). Otherwise sold exactly as shown in the pics. No engine or trans, etc. The California title is clear, registration is in my name and the registration is current through December 2010. No reserve. Priced dirt cheap to make it irresistable- why bother restoring a rust and bondo body with a marginal frame- this car has never seen salted roads, it has a solid and super straight frame and a clean CA title. A pic of the bed has been added. It does have a driveshaft, a set of Elite small block headers and a good 3 row radiator.
