Vehicle Detail
Unmolested and rare, only 1252 4WD stepsides were built in model year 1967. Farm use the last 30 years. Complete, stock and runs excellent with a 250CI matching number engine mated to the original 4 speed. No knocks, smoke or funny noises! Starts right up and once warmed up idles smoothly! Transfer case operates as it should. Included with the truck is the original Chevy dealer invoice, protecto plate, owners manual and original NH title. Also included are the original jack & handle. Also, there are over $125.00 in new parts that are part of the sale. In the last 1000 miles (8years) the following repairs have been made: 4 studded tires, clutch, exhaust, heater core, battery, brake cylinders, shoes, emergency brake cable, and steel lines. All gauges work as do the horn, lights, including plow lights, high beams, heater blower, wipers, and directionals. All door & window handles function and are not broken. The windshield is cloudy with wiper scratches. The 7 1/2' Fisher 4 way Speedcast hydraulic plow was installed by the dealer before delivery of the truck. It still works good enough for light duty use but needs a new cutting edge and the lift cylinder leaks down slowly(O-rings?). Mileage is believed to be approx 35,000 but can not be confirmed. The odometer stopped at 21,XXX many years ago. The motor does not appear to have ever been pulled from the truck and the original GM logo top radiator hose w/tower clamps is still installed. The truck was repainted its original color back in 1980. It needs bodywork on the rockers, left floorboard and front fender patch panel to pass a state insp. The bed's fenders need some work as do the steps, which were cut off some time ago. The bed floor was replaced with diamond plate. The original dealer installed step & tow bumper has rust as seen in the pics. Because of the trucks originality, rareness and factory and dealer documents it would be a prime canidate to restore as you drive it. Block date casting code: C 10 7 March 10, 1967 Motor serial #: F0316TF 250 motor with a 4 speed. Motor built at the Flint, Mi. plant March 16. Delivery date: April 15, 1967 A Bill Of Sale is the only document that is required to sell an antique vehicle in NH and that is all that will be provided. If your state requires more documentation than that please do not bid.On Sep-19-10 at 15:53:19 PDT, seller added the following information: I ADDED AS THE 24TH PICTURE THE "BUILD SHEET" AFFIXED TO THE INSIDE OF THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR.On Sep-23-10 at 11:02:22 PDT, seller added the following information: I have just registered the truck, so the new owner will receive a copy of the current registration and a bill of sale. You will also receive a NH DMV form titled VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION which certifies that the VIN ID Plate does not appear to be altered, changed, or is missing. It was personally examined and signed by a NH Law Enforcement Officer. Go to the NH DMV website to see an example of this form. Also, the truck was last registered in NH in 2007-2008 and NH safety inspected in 2007-2008. Unless your state is a real prick there should NOT be a problem registering this vehicle.
