1965 ROLLS ROYCE PHANTOM V Absolutely Spectacular! The Rolls Royce Phantom V & VI series almost needs no introduction. They are simply the finest cars that Rolls Royce offered. Completely "coachbuilt" to order a Phantom was ordered only by the most wealthy individuals and as limousines for corporations and heads of state. The English Royalty only rode in specially constructed Phantoms. This car was the 1964 Geneva show car and was sold originally to Mr. David Patterson of Geneva, Switzerland. After his ownership the car reportedly went back to Rolls Royce for a renovation and then came to the United States and was owned by a prominent Philadelphia family until about 1989. In that year a friend of mine purchased the car and proceeded to perform a complete cosmetic restoration. A complete repaint and interior reupholstry was performed. All interio wood was restored and a modern CD sound system installed. The Mulliner-Park Ward bodied 1965 Phantom V Chassis 5LVB43 is absolutely spectacular in all ways. Everything is operational and in superb condition. Mechanically it has been very well cared for and recently all systems have been inspected and brought to perfect operating condition. The engine is so smooth and quiet you nearly cannot tell it is even running when idling. Excellent torque and positive shifts, vibrationless travel down the road with no wind leaks and the absolutely luxury of travelling in a lavish and rare automobile. In terms of a car for the fine collector this is an absolute must have. Nothing from the US in the last 70 of manufacture can can even start to compare with the beauty and incredible construction quality of this car. I've owned dozens of classic cars and bought and sold many of them here on ebay. This is the pinnacle. Please check my feedback and how pleased the buyers of my cars have been. I have clear title in my name with no leinnholder. My guess is that this car could be driven comfortable across the country...but of course old cars can surprise you!
