Well now...what to say? I never thought I would sell this bike but here we are. I purchased the bike 6 years ago from the younger brother of the original owner. The bike was completely stock other than an ugly custom paint job. I worked as a m/c technician for many years and have always had a love of 2 strokes. I have had many RD's,a couple of H1's and H2's and a few RZ350's. My dream for years was to have an RZ500,having ridden a brand new one back in '86. I was able to buy an RZ500 about 8 years ago and while working on and modifying it I met(over the phone) Rick Lance. He has been a tremendous help and I hope to meet him someday soon.He told me several times in the first couple of years that if I wanted to go faster just buy a Gamma......he was absolutely correct. I have done a few mods to the bike but wanted to leave it mostly original. I kept all the original parts so it could easily be brought back to stock with the exception of a few pieces of plastic I cut. I installed the updated gear cluster but left the engine stock.I installed a set of Tommy Crawford expansion chambers and Ricks kit that goes with it.I located a set of flush mounted front turn signals and a speedometer that reads in mph.Also the typical stuff...tires,brakes,chain & sprockets etc...and oh yea a Lance Gamma ride height adjuster. The bike is incredible!!!! It truly is very fast and lots of fun to ride. I will be very sad to see it go. It gets people talking every time I take it out for a ride. I am a very meticulous mechanic so whoever gets this bike will be happy about the shape it is in. Thanks for looking.
