This is a really fantastic machine! I purchased it about a month ago on eBay from a dealer in the northeast. I misread the condition of 'original Thistle Green color' as being original factory paint. Also, upon personal inspection, the seats have been recovered. I purchased the car for showing in a concours, but what I really have is a strong driver that is very mechanically bulletproof and very pleasing cosmetically. The car has been filled (typical minor corrosion issues behind wheel wells) and nicely resprayed in it's original Thistle Green color, which is more like a light silver metallic with a goldish-green hue. The interior/wood is in very acceptable condition for its 36 year age. Car comes with good receipts and books, including the $2-3k receipts I spent under the car on new bushings/mounts/springs and brake work. Existing compression tested strongly. We drove this car from NJ to Tennessee with ZERO problems. Only issue is dash light bulb is out, and antenna needs work. That is IT. This car runs arguably as well as the day it was new. I am selling because I am acquiring an original paint/interior car for Mercedes club concours competiton. These pillarless-window coupes are getting harder and harder to find. I have over $15,000 invested in the car, and I'm willing to sell for just under $10,000 to raise funds for my next purchase. Also, I have the opening-bid super-low, and NO RESERVE.
