Vehicle Detail
1965 Plymouth Belvedere II 2 Door coupe This car runs and drives fine, I have had it 3 years and drove it on the street for a year and then started to learn to drag race with it. I have made 40 or so passes with it and no mechanical issues. Car runs 14.10's with 2:73 gears. It has lots of potential and always gets lots of comments on what a cool old car. 383 remanufactured by Discount Auto Parts (1964 block) Mopar Performance High rise intake with a Holley 4500 series 750CFM Carb Billet MSD Distributor and Crane High6 Electronic Ignition Module (MSD) with rev control Milodon Low profile oil pan and Headman Headers New Radiator when I bought the car 727 trans with a 2500 stall converter, deep B&M Aluminum pan and a B&M shifter with lockout lever 8-3/4 rear (741 casting) with a posi (don't know if its a Dana or Borg unit) but it does work 2:73 ratio The brake system was redone when I got the car with a newer dual master cylinder, new rubber lines, wheel cyl, steel lines, shoes and 2 drums I removed the factory instriment panel and put in a aluminum bezel with oil pressure, volt meter and water temp it also has a large tach with shift light. (the original cluster is included with the sale of the car, everything worked) Body: Has a fiberglass hood that appears to be of nice quality (not warped or cracked) one rear corner is broken off (1/2" missing) can be easily repaired has a glass hood scoop bolted on. Roof and rear deck lid are in nice shape with no major rust A very nice set of fenders included with no rust or dents The doors are badly dented (could be repaired but I would replace the skins.) The bottoms have some minor rust but are repairable The rear quarters are rusty in the lower sections and around the wheels. The cowl is rusty and will require some repair work (Repair Panels included in sale) The entire car was recently painted with acrylic enamal with hardener to cover the multi-color primers and protect the metal All the glass is present and not broken The floor pans previously repaired with metal screwed in (Entire car has thick undercoating) Trunk floor needs repair Gas tank was removed and inspected and has no rust inside Interior is complete but will need redone.
