****CAR IS LOCATED IN TN***** Car was a DSO 95 slated for export to Germany. I have added more pictures and have my family looking through my parts for the original dash cluster...was in kilometers but since my dad passing, I don't know where it is. You are bidding on an original 1966 DSO 95 Mustang. The car is 98% there. Drove the car into the garage over 20 years ago and has only been outside for garage cleaning and never in the rain. As you can see from the pics the car is extremely straight and hasn't been touched in over 20 years, car is pretty much ready for paint. There is some slight surface rust in the inside of the rear quarters, the floorpans seem solid. Interior is there but not sure about the front kick panels...they may still be inside the car. 289 2bbl 225hp w/auto. This car hasn't been driven in over 20 years but the motor is free and was running when parked. You can see that the body is in excellent shape and wouldn't need that much to make it pristine. Paint is believed to be original but unsure. Seats are shown photo'd and are still in great shape. Engine is complete with 2bbl. Airconditioning is still in the car and compressor is on motor. This is going to have the original R12 refrigerant in it. The rear splash pan is not original to the car nor is the piece that goes between the front bumper and grill. The rear fold down seat is in the loft and is in excellent condition...will be down and in the car by close of auction. I purchased the car in the 80's with the intention of restoring her but ended up going back in the military and then finding myself in Colorado. I have since been in a car accident and now need to pay medical bills and have surgury coming up soon. The bumpers are there, as is the front splash pan. If you are wondering why the amount is high....Look closely at the pics...this car could be on the road in a weekend or two!! Also, when was the last time a DSO 95 came up for auction?? Especially a fastback!! Couple of months and this could be in show condition!!! You will need to do the fluids, check the brakes and go through the carb and gas tank. Other than those things...this is not one of the rust buckets with thrown together parts..that are selling on ebay for over $3k with tons of missing parts or just a shell that needs the rear quarters,frame rails and rocker panels replaced.
