2001 Honda Insight 2-door with a 5-speed manual transmission; Power Windows, Power Locks, 1.0 Liter gasoline engine with Honda’s electronic Integrated Motor Assist (IMA). This is a nice little car that has low miles for its age. I bought the car new in April of 2001as a drive to work car and it has been great on gas averaging nearly 60 MPG. The car runs well and everything is in proper working order. The IMA unit was replaced in July of 2010 by the local Honda dealer (I have the paper work). It should be good for another 9 years. New tires were installed two years ago and are in very good condition. I am approaching retirement and do not plan on driving to work much longer. There is a very small door ding on the passenger side that is not noticeable in the photos. There was a larger ding on the driver’s side (people are very careless sometimes), but I had that professionally repaired right after it appeared. The rest of the exterior has normal wear, perhaps even less than normal wear. This car has always been garage kept. It does shine up nice and, even after 9 years, I am often asked where I got the ‘new car’. The interior shows very little wear. The AM/FM radio works fine and there is a tape player that has seldom been used. The air-conditioner works great.
