I have a 1998 ford contour that unfortunalty caught on fire. I had a new battery put in and about 3 weeks later caught on fire. There was a wire that had been rubbed from my system fuse box. I absolutey loved the car and still hate to part with it. By the time the fire department came they had to pry the hood open and the fire was all the way to the electrical box. So everything around the battery is fried. It has been kept in nice shape. Never been in a wreck but some minor body damage. I believe I am the second owner and have had it for 7 yrs. It was owned by an older gentleman before I had it. There are some smoke holes from him in the seats but has not been smoked in since I have had it. It has mostly highway miles and there are around 175000.I do know there are less than 179000. I dont know the exact bc it wont turn on. I did just have the oil changed and two new front tires put on. I have all recepts to everything that has been done to it. It does have tinted windows, wired for electric start. I will be taking that out, and wired for neons that I will be taking out. For a girls car it was really decked out. LOL There is some body damage where my sister backed into me and a cart hit me and I got side swipped. The car is dirty because when they toed it they parked it under the tree. Please feel free to call with any question.
