Up for sale is a 1994 GMC Sonoma Highrider SLS ZR2 with 182,000 miles. This truck is driven at least 5 times a week. Please read the description carefully. The Good: New exhaust system. New manifolds, y pipe, O2 Sensor, Catalytic Convertor, Muffler, and tailpipe. 800 dollars. New starter. 100 dollars New upper and lower front ball joints and alignment. (installed 2000 miles ago). 600 dollars Body in very good condition- no rust- some clearcoat peeling off roof. Good tires. BF Goodrich All terrain T/A with 50% or more of tread left. Engine runs strong. Truck rides nice. Power windows and locks. Interior in nice condition. The Bad Truck does not have reverse. All other gears are fine except for occasionally slipping. Truck has Automatic Transmission. I've driven it for about a year in this condition. I've driven to Georgia and back (200 miles) and drive to Asheville and back sometimes (100 miles round trip). 4x4 also doesn't currently work. Not sure what the problem is. AC not working. No power steering. Brakes work fine except 2 times last year the brake pedal stiffened and was difficult to push down. Needs a new windshield wiper switch. Included in the sale is a brand new wiper motor (100 dollars). Sometimes idle is a little inconsistent (could be a vacuum line unattached?) No Horn. Rear view mirror needs to be reattached. Check engine light comes on and goes off, not sure why. Come take it for a test drive before you bid or if you're unhappy with it after having the winning bid then there is no problem if you don't want to go through with the purchase. I tried to be as honest as possible with the description. This is not a parts truck or on its way out. It needs some work but would be well worth the investment. I've seen several used trannys on ebay with warranties for 300-500 dollars. Thanks for looking. Also have a set of four rims with 31" tires (worn but still usable) for free if buyer wants them. Location: Bryson City On Sep-03-10 at 19:39:24 PDT, seller added the following information: I reread my add and forgot to mention that the brakes need to be checked because the brake pedal became stiff to push down while driving twice in the last year. A firmer push on the pedal engaged the brakes just fine but it does seem like it should be checked.
