You are looking at a 1975 Porsche 911 S Coupe. I am selling this Vehicle for a friend of mine who just got this car out of storage for over 10 years. If you are looking for a nice weekend driver or want to spend a little money on this car and make it a show piece, then dont miss out on this NO RESERVE auction. The car is the S model with the Factory Sunroof and its a Manual Transmission. Please realize you are buying a car that has been in Storage under a cover for over 10 years so its not a vehicle I would just jump in and drive cross country but with very little maintenence it will be someones dream car. He never left it out in the weather and it shows, the body is in really good condition but does show some signs of aging around the windshield and a few other places but no major rust issues. There is a scratch on the drivers door as pictured, and it has been repainted before at one time but a fair job was done. The interior is what really surprised me, it is in really good condition for the age and shows very little signs of wear. the pictures do not do the interior justice, you can tell it has not been outside with the sun beating it up for years, this was definately a car that was taken care of.
Now for the engine, we had the vehicle towed on flatbed down to our dealership because it had not seen daylight in 10 years and I wanted to get it checked out before going any further. We have drained all the old gas, flushed the lines, put new plugs, new battery, and a new fuel filter in this car before trying to start it. To our surprise, it fired right up and the motor is in really good condition, we could keep it running for a while but it still needs to be cleaned out. It seems to be a very strong running engine, but before I would take it out on the road I would have someone that knows a little more about these cars go through it all. I just wanted to know how to list the car in ebay here so we dont mislead anyone. I would recommend possibly a fuel regulator, and the points replaced due to the age and it sitting. Like I said before you go out and just start driving it, have someone qualified get it tuned up and running like its supposed to. The gears and clutch seem very nice and smooth. This is too nice of a car to not be 100% road ready. This car has the factory Collapsable Spare tire from BFGoodrich, and the tires are still in good shape with no signs of dry rot. Since it has not been driven in so long, we offer free delivery to the local DAS hub for shipping or you are more than welcome to pick it up on a trailer yourself. With very little money you will have a Very Nice Car.
I really believe this is the Diamond in the Rough, he has allowed me to sell at no reserve to determine the right value of this car but we are open to offers and have it for sale locally as well so we reserve the right to end this auction early if a deal is made.
