1979 Little Red Expressl had a black one (Utiline) a couple of lifetimes ago and it got away from me. I have always wanted a LRE.I have had this truck since March of 2009 and have only had a chance to drive it a couple of times. I intended on doing a frame off restoration to it, but I do not have the time. It is getting in the way of my other project.It is a nice truck, but it still needs work. That is not to say it is a turd, it is actually a nice 5-footer. One of the primary reasons I bought this truck was how clean the body is. Additionally, someone also did a nice job on the frame and underside. I will describe the truck the best as I can: EXTERIOR; Front bumper is nice driver with small pitting down low. It shines up nice, but not smooth. Grill is OK. Pass side has couple of small scratches, drivers side has good scratch that broke though, At best, it's a medium quality driver. Both Front fenders are clean with the exception of: a small dent on pass side above side marker light. (4" x 5") Was hammered out poorly. EZ fix the drivers side front fender has a small crease up high by the grill (2" x 3" & shallow) Can be hammered out. EZ fix (look for black line) Hood is in great condition, though I was told it just needs to be aligned better (I don't like the fit). Both doors are clean. Paint runs in jam area and small paint lines on window rubber from poor taping on paint prep. Cab (exterior) is very clean. Small area (1 1/2" lg) where paint lifted below the drip rail trim on pass side, and there is some spotted paint bubbling near roof line on the driver's side (~ a quarter in size in over all area) The drip rail trim is not good, I have an additional set I will include. The front glass is "gray ghosted" around the edges. What the heck causes that? The front window gasket has over spray on it. New ones are available. The box/rear fenders are in excellent condition. The only area of concern is where the brackets for the turn signals bolt up. Body shop says it's an EZ fix. Tail Gate is also in excellent shape The box bed wood was painted red at one point. I like the varnish look better and planned on refinishing them. The wood on the side of the box had been refinished, though there is some small cracks in the ends of some of the pieces. Again a 5-footer. The tires are brand new and were on the truck when I bought it. The rims are not factory and a little rusty. (5-footer) I have purchased 2 of the original 15" x 8" rims (hard to find and not cheap) and I will include them. INTERIOR: Buddy seat is in great condition. There is a small burn in drivers side (
