Vehicle Detail

1963 Volkswagen Beetle Offered at No Reserve! You are bidding on a fairly rust-free example of an original Beetle that is a rolling chassis. This car comes with a ton of parts. I acquired this car on trade from a friend who owed me some money. Sounded like a good idea at the time, but not so much at this point, haha :) I know the car has been stored in a garage since around 1980, and is currently. It was disassembled by a previous owner with the intentions of fully restoring it, but that obviously never happened. It had 98,500 original miles at that time. I do not know a lot about these cars, but I am in auto business and know cars, so I will try to describe this as best as I can. If you are local, I strongly suggest you come and inspect it for yourself if you have any doubts about anything. The floor pan and battery box appear to be very solid, as is the rest of the body. There are a few areas of corrosion that I tried to photo that on the body. This car was originally a battleship grey color, and someone decided to brush paint it the blue color you see here a long time ago. The original fenders are included as well as two "new" ones that are still in primer. There are two extra doors included. The hood and trunk are included, as are the front and rear bumpers. There are boxes and boxes of parts full of trim, nuts, bolts, engine parts, etc. There are 4 engines in various states of assembly included. I do not know what is good, if anything. There is also another transaxle included, in addition to the one that's in the car. It appears I have *most* of what you would need to put this car back together. Again, I STRONGLY urge any serious buyer to come and check this car out. I have a truck & trailer and can deliver this car and it's parts within a 200 mile radius for a reasonable fee. If you have any questions please call me (908) 451-4332. Thanks, John On Sep-02-10 at 13:56:26 PDT, seller added the following information: To answer a few questions: Yes, I have a clear New Jersey title for this Beetle. I also have the full interior which is dark red in color. There is another (5th) engine that comes with this Beetle that is completely disassembled. If you have any other questions, please give me a call. John (908) 451-4332.
