Vehicle Detail
For sale by auction is one Honda Shadow 750 American Classic Edition. This bike is female owned, and has been well cared for. It has a Memphis Shades "Memphis Fats" windshield and Vance and Hines pipes, both of which were installed by the dealer. The bike was tuned for the new pipes by the dealer as well. The bike "sounds awesome" as the current owner states (current owner is a friend of mine, "awesome" is her highest form of praise). The original pipes go with the bike as well. She is the second owner of this bike, having bought it from a dealer in 2005 with only 2,176 miles on the clock. The bike's original owner bought it and decided he didn't want to ride after all, so you know this bike has not been ridden hard or put away wet ever. It has been dealer maintained until the local dealer closed, then serviced by a reputable shop, the most recent service having been performed at 9,000 miles (serviced at 3,000 mile intervals religiously). During this most recent service the bike got new tires, so the tires are like new with only about 1,000 miles on them! The battery is also new, installed about a month ago. The winner of this bike gets a great looking bike in great shape, with two sets of pipes and a windshield as well as the original owners manual and tool kit. This is actually a very nice looking bike. It's the "American Classic" edition, and Honda did do a good job with the retro American Classic look. The speedo has a very nice vintage look, similar to old Stewart-Warner hot rod gauges with white background and nice, italic numbering (as opposed to boring, plain vanilla print). The dash is reminiscent of the old cat-eye dash, and the front fender looks like an older dresser fender. With the wide windshield and big, cushy seat this is an all-day cruiser! It has a really nice tank bag for stowing your cell phone, cigarettes, or whatever small items you need to keep handy during a ride; maybe cool weather gloves go in there after the sun starts to warm things up during a fall ride. This is a great bike, and a great deal with the accessories that come with it! Get some riding in this year on a good looking, comfortable cruiser!
