1992 Lincoln Town Car - Signature Series I'm selling this car for my Mother. The car has always been in our family as my Grandparents bought it and drove it for 4 years and then gave it to my Mom and she has driven it since. It still runs great and they have had regular services done to the car when needed. This Lincoln only has one issue that I'm aware of and it's had this issue for many years now and our repair shop has advised us it is not necessary to fix. The rear suspension in this model Lincoln uses two airbags (one on each side) in place of struts. There is a small leak in the driver's side rear suspension bag. We had an issue with the pump and compressor that keep air in these bags (which in turn provides that comfortable Lincoln ride) back in December of 2009. There was a short in the electrical system to the pump and the compressor and the short kept making the fuse blow. Our repair shop was able to put a circuit breaker in and the suspension was fine until last month when the compressor failed. We had the compressor replaced on Aug. 3, 2010 and the suspension rides fine now. To my knowledge, there are no major issues with it and the winning bidder will be able to start it the first time and drive it away just fine. I started and drove the vehicle just a couple of weeks ago. Now that the suspension has been fixed it drives like a dream! Powerful, strong engine and no slipping in the transmission! We recently bought a smaller car for my Mom as this is a big car for her to drive anymore. The starting price is $900. We've put over $2,200 into the car (brakes, tires & suspension) in the last year and thus we're unable to part with it for less than $900. Details: Silver exterior with some sun damage on top, hood & doors but difficult to notice unless you're close because it blends with the color of the car Burgundy leather interior has cracked on the driver's side and it has some holes in the driver's seat otherwise the interior is in decent shape for an 18 year old car - you can see this in the pictures Non-smoker! Power everything!
