Vehicle Detail

Scratch that "Old Car Itch" and make it work! 1950 Ford Sheetmetal on '96 T-Bird Unibody/Chassis All Genuine Parts Professional Craftmanship Go Anywhere, Service Anywhere Classic Appearance Everything works on T-Bird Controls Fully Loaded Not a Fiberglass Kit Repairs Just Like a Regular Car This is one of two cars that my shop built in the late 90's. The first car was a '94 T-Bird (48,000 miles). This car was built using the lessons learned on the first (blue) car. I put 50,000 miles on the first car. I used it to advertise my businesss and it was "drop dead" effective. It was the most fun I have ever had with a modified car because it was so practical. I sold that car last year. This car was started in '98 (it has 20K miles on it). Its the white car in the build pictures. When I sold my shop in '05 I brought it home and finished it. Special attention was taken regarding corrosion protection. This car has a clear Washington state title (shown in pics). You'll notice the title says it's a '49 Ford but I put a '50 Ford grille in it to make it different from the blue car. I removed the factory antenna from the fender and have been unable to make the aftermarket one work, I think this is a job for a stereo shop (see pic). The tires and wheels only have about 5 miles on them. Because of the reconfigured front end, the drivers airbag has been disconnected and the passenger side airbag has been removed. This is a car that you will thoroughly enjoy driving and owning. After very carefully driving the blue car for 3 days I finally realized that this is just a regular car. I have built and owned many customized cars and this is the first one that I and my wife have enjoyed going places (trips) in. If you like attention, you will get it in this car. I actually had customers come into my business and say, "I'm here because of that car!" and point to it in the parking lot. I built a new 12,000sq.ft. facility in 1995. The blue car was built in '97 and because of increased volume the burgundy car was continually put off and didn't get finished until I took it home after the sale of my business. I retired and moved to Texas in 2008 and shipped this car here along with my chopped El Camino (shop truck). Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about this car. This car is being sold as-is. The successful high bidder will submit a $1,000 non-refundable deposit within 2 business days of the close of the auction through paypal to secure the vehicle. Buyer agrees to pay remaining balance through paypal within 7 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle.
