Up for bid is a 1962 MGA MkII, Old English White, Red Leather Interior. Runner Driver. Includes a Canvas top, Canvas tonneau cover, and sliding side curtains. Wire Wheels with 2 new front tires. Car is a daily driver until a restoration is desired. Wanted a Twin-Cam, but decided to buy this car and enjoyed it for several months, then found my Twin-Cam. Pictures make the car look better than it is. The 2 front fenders are rust-free, no patch panels. There is some bubbling on the hood. There are a couple of dents, which are evident in the attached pictures. Paint is checked. There is some evidence of body filler in the rear fenders. Trunk is in good shape. Doors are in good shape. Grille has surface rust. Front valence has a dent as evidenced in the picture. Car has been upgraded to 1800cc MGB motor. Engine is strong. Brakes are fine. Transmission is in good shape, but requires the usual MGA 2nd gear care. Interior has "patina." Motolita steering wheel. Carpet is aging. Seats are in good shape. Car has been resting in the garage for 2 years. Car is available for inspection upon scheduled appointment. Buyer to arrange shipping or pickup of the vehicle.
