1968 MGB GT!!! Here is an absolutely beautiful 1968 MGB GT finished in a classic British Racing Green over a gorgeous Black interior and sitting on a set of Chrome wire wheels!!! This is a rust free California/Arizona MG!!! This car has been treated to tons of new parts and reconditioned original parts. LOTS of money and time has gone into turning this MGB GT into what you see today. The bumpers are new, the rubber seals are new, the upholstery is new, a new clutch kit has been installed... this car is ready for its new owner. During this vehicles rebuild a Webasto style roof has been added and really gives you the benefit of the practicality of the MGB GT with the open air feeling of the MGB roadster. It really is the best of both worlds with this car. This car drives great and turns heads everywhere you go. Click to enlarge Exterior: This MG looks great with its British Racing Green paint and expensive chrome wire wheels. As you can see from the detailed photos the car looks great. You could easily bring this car to your local weekend car show and show it with pride. This MG is rust free. The paint on this car is very nice and of high quality. There are only a few minor rock chips etc... that are flaws. It really does look as good as it does in the pictures. The entire car was disassembled and the engine removed when the car was painted. When the car was put back together, the car was treated to new chrome bumpers, grill, emblems/badges, new rubber seals etc... The Chrome wires and accents look gorgeous against the classic British Racing Green paint job. This car gets thumbs up as you drive down the road and plenty of attention at the gas pump. Click to enlarge Interior: The interior of this classic MG is like new and in excellent condition. The front seats have been reupholstered and look and feel great. The carpet is new as well and free of stains etc... The dash board is in very nice shape and is free of cracks etc... The suede headliner and door panels are also new and finish this MGB beautifully. A radio is currently not installed. To retain the classic look a modern radio could be added either under the dash or in the console below the dash. The Webasto style roof really transforms the motoring experience. You get fresh air motoring with the solid feel and security of a traditional coupe. Overall the interior of this car is beautiful. Click to enlarge Engine: The 1800cc 4 cylinder fires right up and runs like a top. The car blows no smoke on start up or while driving. A compression test was recently done and the car passed the test. The engine bay looks very factory, still sporting its factory air cleaner set up. The transmissions shifts nice and easy through all of the gears with no grinding. The transmission was recently treated to a new clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. The 4 cylinder exhales through a great sounding exhaust system that gives this MG that classic British sports car sound. Currently the heater is not hooked up, which we dont need out here in the dry desert climate. It would should be very easy and straight forward to make the heater work as all of the components are there. The car runs nice and cool even in Arizonas hot and dry climate. The car drives great and is fun to drive. The car stops straight and stops with ease. The car is a joy to motor around town in. The car is sitting on a gorgeous set of Chrome wire wheels with Pirelli tires that are like new. This is a great car to waste the weekend away in.
