Vehicle Detail
"The Beast" is a 1997 Suburban K2500 (3/4 ton) 6.5L Diesel Turbo, Automatic, 4X4, with only 140K miles has been Upgraded and Pampered!!! California Law now requires smog of Diesels from 1998 and Up. I have Upgraded to "Heath Diesel" Manual Waste-gate & Towing Performance Chip, which adds approx. 60 HP while improving Towing!!! This allows the disconnection of faulty & prone to malfunction Vacuum System. This truck practically drives like a car, enhanced engine & transmission performance! HID front light in Glass, plastic white Parking lights, Rear LED Brake & Turning Lights, Running Boards, Aluminum GM Wheels (from 2005 HD) and Newer MICHELIN M/S Tires give superior traction & stability. Interior is Gray Cloth in Very Good to Excellent Condition- no tears, rips, just minor wear in high traffic areas, Exterior has normal dings & scratches from branches & age but looks Great. Small crack in Right Rear Fender Flare. Upgraded Stereo/Entertainment System to Jensen DVD/Back-Up Camera/Satellite Radio/iPod ...Backup Cam comes on when in reverse (wireless, Sun blocker), Sirius by subscription & removable Radio. I bought his beauty a year ago because we thought of moving to rural pastures, not to be, never towed anything, and just too big for one person. Clear Title in hand, buyer to cover any & all shipping/transportation costs. Ask any questions before bidding. On Aug-27-10 at 15:35:26 PDT, seller added the following information:I have Successfully run this truck on Biodiesel, Clean waste Veggie Oil, Veggie Oil & Diesel mix, as well as straight Diesel #2. If using straight Veggie Oil I recommend topping off with D #2 for easier starts. No conversion necessary in my climate zone!
