Looking for a dependable ride in a vehicle with low taxes and insurance? Don't want to spend a lot of money fixing it up? Then check this one out. Over the last 36 months this SUV has been painted ($500), had the A/C replaced and filled (5/25/10 - $624), had the engine rebuilt (7/7/09 - $2438), had the transmission rebuilt (7/22/09 - $1850), had a new headliner and seat covers installed(2/8/07 - $665), new carpet installed (1/26/07 - $165), new weatherstripping on doors (1/22/07 - $115), and other smaller items. We also installed new locks, window struts, and a new radio with custom speakers in door panels. The tires are new and are mounted on early Camaro wheels. All the interior and exterior lights work. I have all the receipts to verify the repairs and can email a copy to you in .pdf if you like. With all this work this car is not perfect and has some blemishes of course. The body has a few small dents that should had been fixed before it was painted, but they are not detracting. The upper dash has some cracks and some peeling from sun exposure, but a cover can be purchased if you want to correct it. Some ash trays are missing. The back window lock needs a fix - installed a new lock, but it still opens. There is no catalytic converter installed - it was stolen one night a while back and I didn't replace it. Also, the engine is not stock for the car. It is a 4.3 V6 with a 4-barrel carb. The car rides good and does not pull. On a 1 to 10 scale this car is about a 7 on looks and 8 on mechanical condition.
