1985 Camaro IROC-Z TPI T-Top (Very Clean, Rare) Collector COLD A/C For sale is this 1985 IROC-Z, this was the first year for the Iroc-z, and for the Tuned Port Injected motor to be offered. The camaro is black with gold accents. The paint is in good condition, and polishes up nicely. The interior is black leather, with seats out of 2002 camaro recently upholstered with black leather, new door panels, and have replaced many misc plastic pieces, and the carpet is still in great shape. The factory tach and oil gauge don't work, the dash pad has a few cracks, and headliner has been removed. It has the 305TPI motor, that runs strong with only 148k on it. 3.42 rear gears, and w/c t5 from a 88 Iroc with .62 5th gear. I average 22.5mpg city/hwy and can get as good as 25mpg strait hwy. Has a pionee premier cd player and all eclipse audio speakers. Oil changed regularly at 2500 mi. New Parts TPS, IAC, MAF knock sensor, o2 sensor, esc module, oil pressure sensors, coolant sensors, replaced all relays, A/c compressor, accumulator, r134a retrofit, front brake pads and rotors, all fluids, zoom kevlar clutch, all clutch hydrolics, Tires have 70% tread left, flowkooler water pump, thermostat, fuel injectors, tune-up, fuel filter, and I'm thinking there is more. Performance parts/mods Removed all emissions (egr, smog pump, cat), k&n air filter with gutted air box, iat relocation kit, 52mm Throttle-body, holley adj. fuel press. reg., Bosch design III fuel injectors, hypertech cap and coil, 8mm taylor spyro-pro spark wires, platinum plugs, Bola muffler, proform short shifter, 180* thermostat, Custom Chip from Harris Performance(tpichips.com). Vehicle condition The car runs great fires easily, and I drive daily as my every day vehicle, there are no major oil leaks, as it leaves no drops anywhere. The interior is clean and has the headliner removed, and a few cracks on dash, and will be a show quality interior. The paint and body are good. This vehicle has never been wrecked, the body is strait and all the seems line up perfectly. There are a few small dings in the doors, and the paint is not perfect. It has some swirls, and light oxidation that will buff out, but seems to return after time. I have not touched the suspension and could use new shocks/struts. All lights, blinkers, horn, and seat-belts work. Oh yeah original oil pressure gauge and tachometer do not work, but have a small aftermarket tack on steering column. Bonus I have with the car the original owners manual, Chilton repair manual, , and GM service repair manual. Have clear Title in hand. I am the 3rd owner on this camaro, and have much time and money in this project. I really hate to see it go, but must sell, have a second child on the way, must get rid of my toy/project/daily driver to get a family truck.
