Up for auction is this stunning piece of automotive history. A 1959 Corvette with the 283/230 HP and has the correct 519 block. It has the 4sp. manual shift. I purchased this car about 2 years ago. It was in fine shape as it was owned by a dentist who had it since 1989 (see title copy) Everything on this car works just as it is supposed to all the way down to the Wonderbar radio to the cigarette lighter. Nothing on this car isn’t working as it should. When I purchased this car the paint was needing some attention and the chrome was beginning to show its age. I just finished having the Vette painted in correct Snowcrest white with Inca silver coves. All chrome was sent off and was rechromed and stainless polished. All new weatherstripping was installed. The engine runs like a top. Smoothest I’ve seen. Car handles like a dream. The convertible top is also in great condition. The interior of this car is next to perfect! I had new brakes and the correct Coker whitewall tires installed. .
