Cars like this don't come along very often. This 2001 Trans Am convertible is in impeccable condition inside and out, and IT....RUNS....GREAT. This one has the highly-desired Ram Air option with the sport-tuned suspension. Other options include a Hurst shifter for the 6 speed manual transmission, and traction control - that's $4165 in factory options. This is a lifetime Florida car that hasn't been exposed to the road salt and rough conditions of northern roads. It has just 30,659 original miles on it. This exterior is in excellent shape with no notable dents or dings to be found. The paint shines like new all around. Very, very impressive. The Autocheck report is clean, showing no accident or flood history. Exterior features include fog lamps, 17" alloy wheels and a rear spoiler. The top is in excellent shape with no stains, holes or tears. The seats are leather, and they are also in excellent condition with no holes, cuts or tears. The dash, carpets and door panels are all in very good shape. The driver's seat has power controls, and both front seats have lumbar. If you look close, you'll see the only defect we found on the car - the seat belt guide on the front passenger seat headrest is broken -a VERY common imperfection in this generation Firebird / Camaro. Its the only imperfection we could find on this otherwise IMPECCABLE car. The rear seat is also very nice. This Firebird has some nice features: Power windows, locks, and mirrors; Tilt wheel; Cruise control; Air conditioning; Rear defroster, and more. Safety features include ABS, traction control and dual air bags. This car has a Monsoon AM/FM/CD stereo with equalizer and steering wheel controls. Both remote key fobs and the manual are with the car. The trunk is clean. This 5.7 liter V8 runs very, very well. Assisted by the Ram Air option, its rated at 335 hp and 345 lb-ft of torque (we've seen several ratings for the power of this motor - some sites have it as 350 hp from the factory). Current mileage on the car is 30,659. Autocheck shows accurate mileage and no problems. This car may driven, so mileage may be a little higher by the time the auction is over. If you have the vehicle shipped, we will not charge you any sales tax (however, you will have to pay your state's tax at home). Canadian buyers: if you are picking the car up here in Florida, you must pay the state's 6% sales tax. If you ship the vehicle, you do not have to pay Florida tax, just Canada's import taxes. Legal Disclaimer: The parties agree to the following with regard to dispute resolution: Any disputes between the parties must first be addressed by mediation. The mediation must occur in Broward County, Florida. The parties will split the cost of the mediator. The parties must personally appear in Broward County for the mediation. If a party is a corporation, then only the President of the corporation or the corporation's highest ranking officer will satisfy the aforementioned appearance requirement for mediation. Representatives of the parties will not satisfy the aforementioned requirement. The aforementioned mediation is required prior to the initiation of civil litigation. If mediation does not resolve the dispute, then the parties agree that only the 17th Judicial Circuit Court for Broward County, Florida can resolve the dispute. The parties specifically agree that they will be responsible for their own litigation costs and attorney fees for mediation, civil litigation and appeals. The parties recognize that the State of Florida has laws which provide for the shifting of the burden of attorney fees. In the interest of reducing the risk and complexity of litigation caused by those laws, the parties agree to waive any rights they may have to attorney fees under those laws.
