NO RESERVE! LOW STARTING BID! THIS CAR WILL SELL! 1990 Honda Accord EX We bought this car for my father who passed away in April. Unfortunatly he never had the chance to drive it. It needed the steering rack replaced and needed to be smoged before I could give it to him and he died before the work could be completed. The car has been sitting at my home and we think that its time that it finds a home now, one with an owner who will love it as much as my dad would have. It needs some work, but is reliable and runs strong. The car is being sold in “AS IS” condition as we describe the vehicle to the best of our ability. In the interest of full disclosure, here is what I can tell you about the car: The Good: Engine runs strong and the car drives well. Power windows and locks all work Power moon roof works Power steering with NEW steering rack Power shoulder restraints Brand new battery Very clean interior. No tears in the upholstery. Car looks very nice for 20 years old Only 161,500 miles The Bad: · The exterior has minor rust in a couple of isolated areas · The radio does not work, we have not had it looked at, could be something simple? · The AC blows cool, but obviously needs Freon added to blow cold · It needs an alignment (it was not done after steering rack was replaced) · It needs a new oxygen sensor and/or exhaust to pass smog test · The drivers side lap belt does not latch properly, not costly to replace. · A few rattles and quirks you’d expect with a 20 year old car The Ugly: Title is incomplete pending smog certification This car is being sols AS IS. And it will be up to the new buyer to smog it, we have not attempted to smog it ourselves, and understand that it needs some work to be able to pass smog. We have ALL paperwork on the car and the DMV Temp Operating permit as well, the only thing keeping this title from being clear is a smog test. Kelly Blue Book lists the suggested retail value at $2,675 and the private party values of the 1990 Honda Accord EX as follows: Excellent Condition: $1,860 Good Condition: $1,660 Fair Condition: $1,135 This is going to be one heck of a deal for whoever wins! With a starting bid of 400.00 I am only asking a third of what I paid for the car! And looking at what Kelly Blue Book has to say about it, its worth much more than that!
