LETS HAVE SOME FUN WITH THIS ONE !!!!! NO RESERVE !!! You are bidding on a 1975 AMC Matador 4 door sedan in "as is" condition. When is the last time (or ever) you seen one of these running around. never ? NO RESERVE !!! HIGH BIDDER OWN'S HER !! Very low starting Bid $350.00, Old car price guide in #3 condition its listed at $1800 to $2500. value. (new tires & hubcaps are worth more than $250.) I'm letting her go for anything above $350. I bought this Matador from an estate sale a few months ago, the older man that passed had owned it since 1980 (30 years) in 2007 it had a carb. fire which burnt several wires & vacuum hose's but didn't damage the hood or body. He had it towed to his garage and it sat there, he passed on this spring and his estate sold me the car. He had put new radial ww tires on it shortly before the fire, I have also have replaced the following; New plug wires, vacuum lines (don't know if I have them hooked up to the correct ports), new battery, new fan belt. I transfered the title into my name (Idaho title), VIN# matches # on title, mileage of 83800 is shown on oddometer, title states exempt due to age of car. (35 years old). V-8 engine (304 c.i. I think), auto. trans. A/C, power steering, power door locks, AM radio that works good, third brake lite, old rear fan for defrosting rear window. The car now runs & drives but still has a miss at low speed and will die most times at idle. (might need carb. rebuilt ?), Has a rear main seal oil leak from sitting, has some "cracking" on vinel top, all glass good, hood has 1 bolt on pass. side broke that keeps hood from pulling down tight on pass. side, has a small dent on pass.door (look's like the old guy scraped the garage door) and a small dent on drivers side rear above exhaust pipe just under rear bumper ( see last pix's), bumpers, grill & chrome are in great shape Otherwise is real straight & rust free. Interior is ok, has seat covers over seats, has tape on drivers seat where his butt sat and worn carpet where his feet sat. not a bad old AMC.
