Vehicle Detail
No Reserve Auction I am selling my 85' Honda motorcycle. I just bought a truck and decided to sell my motorcycle. Owned it since 2006, and I bought it from someone who garaged it for most of its life. Engine runs and sounds perfect. It's got a clear title. I've been pretty good about keeping it in shape the whole time I have had it. Some things I have done to it include cleaning out the carb's, replacing the petcock, spark plugs, new battery, brake pads, etc. It really is a smooth running bike. When you come to pick up this bike it is ready to ride. However there are some issues that need attention. Headlight is not working. Recently the switch cover came off and the rain must have corroded the connection to the switch. The headlights will probably work if you take a fine grit sandpaper and remove the corrosion where the connection it. This should not be that expensive to address. Night riding is not recommended until this is taken care of. The blinkers work fine, but the front left blinker broke off and it tied to the fork. It could be welded back in place for cheap I am sure. New tires are recommended, however the ones on the bike now hold air just fine. They are probably good for one more season. Odometer & Speedometer are not working (A very common problem with this year and model). True Mileage is Unknown, but my best guess is around 20,000 miles based on how nice it rides. Bike does not like the cold. I can only get it to start from May to October. Besides that there are very few minor scratches and nicks, but for an 85' this bike is in really great shape. It will not take much to get it back to being 100%. Feel free to contact me at 315-350-1600 or dkepley@syr.edu. A $100 deposit is required within 24 hours of the ending of the auction via Paypal. Please call me for a test drive. Happy Bidding On Aug-22-10 at 16:08:34 PDT, seller added the following information:Included in the auction is a large blue Bell Helmet and a large white Bell Helmet.
