Vehicle is worth more parted out! We are selling a custom, one-of-a-kind vehicle. Runs and drives great, but is ideal for rock crawling, mud bogging or 4-wheeling. This is a 1972 El Camino Chevelle body on a late 1970’s or early 1980's ¾ ton 4 wheel drive chassis; This has a high performance Chevrolet V8 engine with Hooker Headers and a new dual exhaust system; Mickey Thompson Valve Covers; Erson Chrome Air Filter; Muncie SM465 cast iron 4 speed transmission; New Process 205 cast iron Transfer Case; Full floating ¾ ton rear differential; Locking front hubs; Disc Front Brakes; Power Steering; BF Goodrich Tires; Chrome spoke wheels; Dual Dick Cepek steering stabilizers; Tilt steering column/Tilt wheel; Custom “Red, White and Blue” interior with Chevrolet “Bowtie” accents; High back bucket seats; Sunroof; Center console with cup holders; Rugged lifted suspension; 4” steering arm; Etched glass; Chrome bumpers; L88 Hood Scoop; Driving lights; Recently serviced and run through a full 62 point safety inspection at a local repair shop with the paperwork available to the buyer; Clear Arizona Title. It was a daily driver for years but has been sitting in storage the past few years and needs a little TLC. Everything works with the exception of the few items below. What needs work: Gas gauge is a bit off: A reading of almost 1/2 on the gauge means a full tank, while empty on the gauge means that the tank is empty; Parking brake needs new cabling from the park brake pedal assembly back to the cables (which are there) at the rear wheels; Speedometer doesn’t work: So we have no idea how many miles are on this unit, but does it matter? Needs a new, custom speedometer cable made from the speedometer to the transmission; Clear coat on the paint is going bad. The floor pan on the El Camino is rusted, as is to be expected on a nearly 40 year old body. Not an issue. No issues with the frame or chassis though. The new owner might want to go over this truck and customize and clean things up to make it look like more of a show truck. Still some "rough edges", but all in all a unique truck. Do not come or call if you are expecting a "Barrett-Jackson" ready vehicle. The vehicle is in Show Low Arizona which is a three hour drive from Phoenix and Tucson and an hour south of Interstate 40. This is still a private party transaction with no hidden fees or taxes.
