For Sale is a mint condition Mercedes 450 SL covertible with Beige exterior and Tobacco Brown leather interior. A two owner automobile since new. Everything is original except new Michelin tires (2000 miles on) and new brake pads. Car has always been garaged and never driven in rain. Current owner has owned for over 10 years, but now rarely uses car (other than for car exercise), and the 34,514 miles are original. Car is in pristine condition, original paint with no paint chips or door dings. Both hard and soft tops included as well as tonneau cover to protect interior when top is down. Air conditioning blows cold, Becker original stereo/tape player works, no cracks/sun damage to dash. Car runs like new. Clear Maryland title. Car has been well maintained and all books and service records available. Reserve is low for this quality car which has been pampered by it's two owners ( ie,the orig soft top rear window is still clear with no scratches/fading, the hard top has always been stored and pristine, carpets like new, etc). Even includes the original Mercedes first aid kit. I'm selling as I have several other cars, and hardly use most of them. Forgot to mention in trunk there is a battery on/off switch installed to allow for storage when not in use (so you don't have to disconnect the battery cables). Also include are custom 450 SL Floor matts I had made (dark brown...see pictures) Lastly, I mentioned before the lower reserve than the value(within a couple of thousand from current bidding) gives the buyer an excellent value. If the reserve isn't met, I'll try to sell locally (haven't advertised yet in the Greater Washington DC Area where I live) or retain it for continued personal use (however sporadic).
